The DFK MENA Regional Conference 2025 was successfully held on 5th and 6th December 2025 in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, bringing together delegates and representatives from eight countries across the MENA region, including the host country.

The conference aimed to strengthen networking among member firms and align methodologies, professional standards, and quality frameworks in light of evolving global regulations and technological advancements. The keynote address by the President of DFK International highlighted key developments within the DFK Network and outlined strategic priorities for the coming decade.

Important discussions were held on the formation of a not-for-profit regional association, including its benefits and challenges, leading to the creation of a five-member committee to take the initiative forward.

The conference also explored opportunities to expand the network by identifying new member firms in Qatar and Bahrain. Further discussions focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence in audit, assurance, and consulting services, alongside valuable exchanges of best practices and regulatory insights from across the region.

The conference concluded by reinforcing the region’s strong commitment to collaboration, innovation, and professional excellence, reflecting a shared vision for the continued growth and integration of the DFK MENA network.

Ibn Hyan Chartered Accountants proudly celebrated its 35th Anniversary, marking over three decades of professional excellence, dedicated service, and trusted client relationships in Oman and across the region. The evening featured an inspiring and engaging presentation by Mr. Sanil, who highlighted the journey of Ibn Hyan—reflecting on its humble beginnings, milestones of progress, and the values that have shaped the firm’s growth over 35 years. This was followed by a special recognition segment honoring the Ibn Hyan team for their dedication and contributions. Their unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism, and client service has been the cornerstone of the firm’s enduring success.

Adding warmth and spirit to the celebration, the event was also attended by the family members of the Ibn Hyan team, whose support has been instrumental throughout the years. Their presence underscored the strong sense of unity and togetherness that defines the Ibn Hyan community.

Ibn Hyan on Wednesday, 7th July 2021 completed the employee vaccination campaign successfully with cooperation from Ministry of Health and Oman international hospital.

With the completion of second stage of vaccination, Ibn Hyan is surely in a better position to reduce the spread of infection. Furthermore, Ibn Hyan is maintaining all precautionary measures and aware of the need to adhere to them, even after receiving the vaccination, as per the Ministry of Health directives.
